Julia Mullaney has been covering the food industry since 2014. A proud New Jersey native living just outside of Manhattan, Julia’s experience ranges from interviewing James Beard-nominated chefs to going undercover as a food critic, and even capturing the trials and triumphs of restaurateurs following the covid-19 pandemic.
When she’s not covering the restaurant industry, Julia is honing her recipe development and photography skills. She published her first cookbook, “Man, You Can Cook!” in 2017. Julia also runs a five-ingredient e-newsletter, Five Ingredient Feast, loaded with original recipes that target consumers looking for easy, affordable dishes. In her free time, she colorfully yet casually documents her food and restaurant experiences through her Instagram account.
