Julia Mullaney has been covering the food industry since 2014. A proud New Jersey native living just outside of Manhattan, Julia’s experience ranges from interviewing James Beard-nominated chefs to going undercover as a food critic, and even capturing the trials and triumphs of restaurateurs following the covid-19 pandemic.
When she’s not covering the restaurant industry, Julia is honing her recipe development and content creation skills. In 2020, she launched Five Ingredient Feast, a social media recipe concept that targets consumers looking for easy, affordable dishes. In her free time, she colorfully yet casually documents her food and restaurant experiences throughout New Jersey on Instagram.
Julia currently serves as the managing editor of Edible Jersey Magazine, a quarterly food and agriculture magazine highlighting New Jersey’s best restaurateurs, mixologists, farmers, and more.
